Paper-traded.
The portfolio is paper-traded. No real capital is invested. Cost basis and fills reflect simulated executions at the closing price on the recorded decision date. The clock starts on the actual seed date (May 4, 2026) — no historical alpha is claimed.
Not a backtested fund.
Backtests are published on /backtests as a method check, not as a sales artefact. The forward record starts when the portfolio was seeded, not when the thesis was written.
Author position disclosure.
Arun Raj may hold long positions in some of the underlying securities in personal accounts. These positions are not disclosed per-name to avoid conflating the public paper portfolio with private holdings.
Engine version-controlled.
The thesis and the scoring engine are version-controlled. Major updates are published as decision records on /decisions — never silent edits. The current engine version is locked by ADR 0015.
Data provenance.
Price + news data are pulled from public market sources (Yahoo Finance) on the daily cron. Fundamentals come from SEC EDGAR filings (10-K/10-Q/8-K). Earnings calendar comes from Finnhub free-tier. We make no warranty as to data accuracy.
